Men's And Women's Clubs
Both clubs provide fellowship among the men and women of the church as well as significant outreach outside our community. The clubs have joint Morning Prayer on the 1st Tuesday of every month, followed by a general meeting. On the 3rd Tuesday of every month the clubs share a social breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

Advent Women’s Clubs
Advent Church Women (ACW)
The ACW builds the women’s church family by providing opportunities to serve the church, the members, and the community. All women at Advent are members of ACW. The ACW is a busy group that does fundraising, gives to the community, and participates in many community outreach programs. We have a variety of ministries where your talents can be utilized. These ministries are Luncheon Planning/Programs, Meeting Hostesses, Lotions and Potions, Helping Hands and Happy Hat Hookers, Rummage Sale, Prayer Shawls, and Diaper/Undie Drive.

Little Free Library
Our Advent Little Free Library was installed in December 2025. We planted several Oleanders and ran water to them and have installed a banner behind the Library to let people know it is available for our community. We are planning to plant a tree for shade and to install a bench and a brick walkway around the bench and up to the Library. We have had many reports of people in the community already using and enjoying this outreach project. If anyone has books they would like to donate, please contact Kathy Garton.

Prayer Shawls
This is a group of people who knit or crochet prayer shawls, mainly for parishioners. The shawls are given to those who need comfort, are ill, or grieve. As the shawls are made, the knitter and/or crocheter pray for help for the recipients.

Rummage Sale
“Advent’s Attic” and Fashion Show is the annual fund raiser selling used “treasures” from member’s homes. We collect items throughout the year and ask parishioners for their help in storing them. For the Rummage Sale, we work from Monday through Thursday, getting everything set up and priced for sale. It is good fellowship, and the proceeds go to our outreach program. Our sale lasts two days but raises a great deal of money to support good causes.
